Capgemini To Open 600 Seat Center In Junction City Kansas

Capgemini -  6/1/2007

Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced that it will open a 600-seat contact center and begin serving clients in October. This will be the seventh Capgemini contact center in North America.

When the center becomes fully operational, it is expected to generate more than $8 million in annual salaries in the Junction City area. Capgemini will begin recruiting personnel for the center in June.

“We are excited to welcome Capgemini to Junction City,” Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius said. “By opting to expand here, Capgemini joins a growing list of world-class companies that have realized the benefits of doing business in Kansas. And with the current and projected population growth of the Junction City and Fort Riley areas, we’re optimistic that more businesses will soon decide to call Kansas home.”
