Convergys Corporation has chosen Longview,Texas for its most recent US expansion. The company will spend $6 Million to locate a call center in the town in a site formerly occupied by Office Depot. The center will employ 500 and will begin operations in April 2007. Initial projections are for 100 employees in April growing to 500 by March 2008.
